The Royal Hospital for Women provides specialised care to women and babies for the most complex of cases. Twins Marla and Carter are a perfect example of the excellence of care that is provided at The Royal. When Nikki's water broke at 18 weeks, Carter saved his twin sister Marla's life in-utero by breathing for her. The Royal's Dr Srini Bolisetty and Professor Alec Welsh are the incredible doctors who helped Nikki and Liam through this challenging time, where the odds were against them.

Seven months on, Nikki and Liam are now enjoying time at home with their happy and healthy baby twins.
