Dr Emily Pascoe, 31 years old, was the first IVF baby born in Newcastle, NSW.

As a paediatrician Emily and her fiance Ben found it hard to picture their lives without children of their own but they had trouble conceiving. 

Thanks to fertility assistance at The Royal they are now proud parents to baby Elizabeth.
