Each year, GivingTuesday is a global movement aimed to transform communities around the world. #GivingTuesdayNow is a global day of unity taking place today as a response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19. We are all confronting the same challenge right now, and the spirit of giving and community is needed more than ever. Today across the globe we are thanking the people who have tirelessly worked around the clock during our biggest time of need.
Today also marks International Day of The Midwife and we are acknowledging the incredible lengths our dedicated midwives go to at The Royal to ensure every woman feels safe and supported during her pregnancy and birth. “I felt like this was the best possible place in the world for me and my baby…I felt totally prepared for what lay ahead.
