Life as a NICU Parent

Having a baby in the NICU can be extremely daunting. Whether your baby was born at The Royal or has been transferred in to receive expert care in the RHW NCC, know that they are in the best possible hands.

As a NICU parent, your experience of life with a newborn will be very different, and it is important to acknowledge this and seek additional support as needed.

We hope these factsheets and informative videos will help you to navigate this challenging time. We also encourage you to share this page with family and friends, to help them to have a better understanding of what life as a NICU parent entails.
