Terms and Conditions

  1. By entering into this raffle, you (Entrant) accept these terms and conditions.
  2. The entity facilitating the draw is The Royal Hospital for Women Foundation (RHWF) ABN 79 276 416 465 and the name of the raffle is ‘The Jack Raffle’.
  3. RHWF is authorised to fundraise in New South Wales under the Charitable Fundraising Act 1991 (NSW): Charity Fundraising Number: CFN 10361 as issued by the Office of New South Wales Fair Trading. 
  4. Entry is open to: all residents of Australia and overseas residents for online sales, excluding employees of RHWF. Entrants must be 18 years or over to purchase tickets.
  5. Entry into the raffle costs:
    1. 1 ticket for $25;
  6. A person may enter the raffle on more than one occasion in accordance with the procedure specified in these terms and conditions
  7. To enter and be eligible to win, Entrants must purchase a ticket from www.royalwomen.org.au/thejackraffle
  8. The raffle opens for entry 9am on 29th July 2019.
  9. This raffle is a game of chance and skill plays no part in determining the winner.
  10. The retail value of the total prize pool is $29,800.
  11. The winning ticket number will be published on RHWF’s website and on social media.
  12. Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash.
  13. RHWF may verify the validity of entries and disqualify any Entrant without notice for providing false information, failing to comply with these terms and conditions or tampering with the entry process. RHWF is not responsible for any technical difficulties which prevent an otherwise valid entry from being received by RHWF.
  14. RHWF will not be liable for any loss or damage (however caused), suffered by the Entrant in connection with these terms and conditions or the raffle.
  15. All liability for government charges, expenses, taxes or any other tax or duty is the sole responsibility of each winner on any applicable prizes.
  16. By entering into the lottery the Entrant consents to RHWF using and retaining the data provided to enter this raffle specifically for the purpose of RHWF and NICU related communication.
  17. If for any reason any aspect of the lottery is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, telephone network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of RHWF, RHWF may in its sole discretion modify or suspend the lottery, or invalidate any affected entries, subject to the approval of the relevant authorities in NSW, if required.
  18. The laws of New South Wales, Australia apply to the lottery and these terms and conditions.

Conducting the Draw: 
The raffle will be drawn by random at The Royal Hospital for Women Foundation (level 1 Barker Street, Randwick NSW 2031) on 19/08/2019 at 10:00am AEST. 

Prize Winner: 
One winner will win the entire prize pool.

Notification to the Winner:
Within 7 days after the draw, the Foundation will attempt to notify the prize winner by telephone or email. The Foundation will also publish the winning raffle ticket on website and social media. RHWF will attempt to contact the winner for 14 days after the draw - if no contact is made. A second winner will be drawn.

Prizes:
The winner of The Jack Raffle will take the total prize pool. The winner will be contacted by The Royal Hospital for Women Foundation and Kieran & Skye Burke in order to arrange the delivery of prizes. Delivery of some of the prizes will depend on residential address of winner and time it takes to contact winner. Certain prizes have their own T&C's.

The prizes will be distributed once the company has the winners details: Dead Kooks, Channels Islands , Hayden Shapes , Epic Negociants Wines, Kido Store, The Landsdowne Hotel (free music gigs for 52 weeks), Mary's Up Late Resturant Voucher,  Epokhe Sunglasses, NYC Saturdays

  • Two tickets to Splendour in The Grass 2020 with camping: Travel & any other associated costs not included. Tickets not transferrable and cannot be redeemed for cash. The tickets cannot be on-sold by the winner or organiser, including eBay or any other online or community auction site. Such action without written permission will render tickets null & void. Entry and attendance at Splendour in The Grass is in accordance with event terms and conditions found at www.splendourinthegrass.com Winner must email community@splendourinthegrass.com before 30 March 2020 to arrange tickets. Must provide two full names and DOB of ticket holders. 
  • Two nights at Paramount House Hotel: Voucher valid until 30/07/2020. To redeem gift voucher, please email reservations@paramounthousehotel.com. All bookings are still subject to T's + C's.
  • Nature Baby Voucher: Voucher valid until 01/07/2020. Your gift card can be used for making purchases at any Nature Baby store or on the website. Upon presentation of this card, payment for merchandise (in full or in part) will be deducted from your card balance. Your gift card remains your responsibility and Nature Baby will not be held accountable for any lost, stolen or destroyed cards.
  • Bassike Voucher: Voucher valid until 25/06/2022. Gift card may be used for purchases at any Bassike retail store within Australia or on our website. Keep your gift card safe and treat it as you would cash. This card cannot be redeemed for cash and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
  • Double Raindbow Voucher:Voucher valid until 22/07/2020
  • Kowtow Voucher: Gift cards are issued in Australian dollars (AUD), for use on Kowtow Australia site only (au.kowtowclothing.com). Gift cards are activated at the time of purchase and remain open for a period of 12 months unless specified otherwise. Whole or partially redeemed gift cards cannot be cancelled or refunded.If the gift card is for a lesser amount than the desired purchase, the recipient is required to pay the difference at checkout via alternative payment methods. Gift cards should be treated like cash and will not be replaced if lost or stolen. Kowtow will not accept responsibility for lost or stolen gift cards. Items bought with Kowtow gift cards can be exchanged but not refunded.
  • Lucy Folk: Reedeemable in?store at Lucy Folk/Playa by Lucy Folk stores and online. Valid for 12 months from date of issue (28th June 2019). Non refundable or redeemable for cash. Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced.
  • Peony Voucher: Gift Vouchers can be used in part or in full towards any order value and are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase - https://www.peonyswimwear.com/products/gift-card
  • Saturdays NYC: Reedeemable in?store and online for services/products only. Gift cards may not be returned once purchased. Unused value remains on card and cannot be redeemed for cash.
  • Trills: Subject to T&C's at https://thrills.co/products/gift-card 
  • Jardan Furniture: Voucher valid until 20/06/2022. Gift cards will be accepted in exchange for Jardan products if presented at any of our stores. Please note gift cards are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
