For every newborn
Supporting Myf through the birth of her triplets
Myfanwy's complex triplet pregnancy required the most specialised of care.
Thanks to The Royal's Maternal Fetal Medicine department, Myf's girls - Ophelia, Violet, and Ivy were delivered safely at 33 weeks via caesarean section. The girls went on to spend two weeks in The Royal's NICU.

For every woman
Providing Olena with life-saving treatment
Olena was undergoing chemotherapy in Ukraine when the war broke out.
With nowhere to turn to continue her treatment, The Royal was there for her. Since arriving in Sydney and staying with her best friend, Olena has been through six rounds of chemotherapy and preventative surgery to reduce the risk of recurrant cancers thanks to the Gynaecology Oncology, Genetics and Breast Centre teams at The Royal.
For every family
Life-saving care for our tiniest patients
When Christopher was born at 24 weeks, his parents feared the worst.
Under the care of The Royal's Newborn Intensive Care Unit, they felt assured that Christopher was going to be okay. Thanks to the life-saving equipment helping him grow and breathe, Christopher is getting bigger every day and will soon be home where he belongs.
