Bella and Bowie
Tuesday 17th SepMy twin girls, Isabella and Bowie were born prematurely in October 2022 and stayed at the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at the Royal for 78 days. Thanks to all the care and support they received; they are now thriving. I will be forever grateful to the staff for their incredible work during the most challenging time of our lives. I am in awe of the work they do, the battles they face daily and the support they offer families at a critical time.
Giving back some time and some sweat and raising money for this wonderful cause feels like the least I can do in return for the greatest gift(s) 've ever received.
Every year, more than 1,000 babies receive critical care in the NICU at The Royal Hospital. Your support can make a huge difference in their lives and the lives of their families. Incredibly, almost 80% of the equipment in the NICU has been purchased through donations and fundraisers.

Amazing cause Sam and good luck with the 24 Spinathon. You might have recovered from the marathon by then!
