Help me fundraise for Premature Babies

I am taking part in the 24 Hour Spinathon and fundraising for premature and critically-ill babies in The Royal Hospital for Women's Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Each year, the NICU cares for over 1,000 premature and critically-ill babies - some born as early as 24 weeks.

All funds raised through the 24 Hour Spinathon will help fund ground-breaking research to give these babies the best chance of survival.

Every dollar will make a meaningful difference.

Sophie and I have started to raise much needed funds for The Royal Hospital for Women Foundation.

Spearheaded by our amazing friends Mike and Jayne Blackwell in memory of their son Joe, the 24 Hour Spinathon has grown over the years to honour all babies that pass through the doors of The Royal's NICU.

The funds raised will help premature and critically ill babies at The Royal Hospital for Women. The Royal's NICU provides highly specialised care for over 1000 babies every year, some born as early as 23 weeks and weighing as little as 500g. State of the art equipment is required in the NICU to ensure the survival of these babies and over 80% of this equipment has been purchased through donations and fundraisers like this one.

This year I will be joined by my very own miracle baby! Sophie, who almost exactly 11 years prior to spin day surprised us a couple of months early, is joining me to raise money for premmie legends just like her.
