I'm running in support of the Newborn Intensive Care Unit at The Royal
Following some pregnancy complications, Michelle and Nick's beautiful daughter, Luna was born early at just 25 weeks and 4 days old.
Since her early arrival, Luna has called The Royal Hospital for Women's Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) home. Here she receives around-the-clock care from The Royal's exceptional team of clinicians.

Inspired by Luna's strength and the commitment and dedication of the NICU clinical team, Luna's grandfather, John will be undertaking a running challenge to raise funds for the unit.
Currently, government funding only provides the basics for the Newborn Intensive Care Unit. Nearly all of the specialised equipment, programs, and research have been funded through the generosity of donors and fundraisers. Nearly 80% of the equipment in the unit, including the equipment keeping Luna alive, has been purchased through donations.
John is hoping to raise significant funds for the Newborn Intensive Care Unit to help fund purchase more state-of-the-art equipment, cutting-edge research, and life-transforming programs.
