Terms and Conditions
1. By entering into this raffle, you (Entrant) accept these terms and conditions.
2. The entity facilitating the draw is The Royal Hospital for Women Foundation (RHWF) ABN 79 276 416 465 and the name of the raffle is ‘Father’s Day Raffle’.
3. RHWF is authorised to fundraise in New South Wales under the Charitable Fundraising Act 1991 (NSW): Charity Fundraising Number: CFN 10361 as issued by the Office of New South Wales Fair Trading.
4. Entry is open to: all residents of Australia and overseas residents for online sales, excluding employees of RHWF. Entrants must be 18 years or over to purchase tickets.
6. Entry into the raffle costs:
7. 1 ticket for $10 or 3 for $20;
8. A person may enter the raffle on more than one occasion in accordance with the procedure specified in these terms and conditions
9. To enter and be eligible to win, Entrants must purchase a ticket from www.royalwomen.org.au/fathersdayraffle
10. The raffle opens for entry 9am on 05 August 2022.
11. This raffle is a game of chance and skill plays no part in determining the winner.
12. The retail value of the total prize pool is $1,249.00
13. The winning tickets will be published on RHWF’s website and on social media.
14. Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash.
15. RHWF may verify the validity of entries and disqualify any Entrant without notice for providing false information, failing to comply with these terms and conditions or tampering with the entry process. RHWF is not responsible for any technical difficulties which prevent an otherwise valid entry from being received by RHWF.
16. RHWF will not be liable for any loss or damage (however caused), suffered by the Entrant in connection with these terms and conditions or the raffle.
17. All liability for government charges, expenses, taxes or any other tax or duty is the sole responsibility of each winner on any applicable prizes.
18. By entering into the lottery the Entrant consents to RHWF using and retaining the data provided to enter this raffle specifically for the purpose of RHWF related communications.
19. If for any reason any aspect of the lottery is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, telephone network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of RHWF, RHWF may in its sole discretion modify or suspend the lottery, or invalidate any affected entries, subject to the approval of the relevant authorities in NSW, if required.
20. The laws of New South Wales, Australia apply to the lottery and these terms and conditions
Conducting the Draw: The raffle will be drawn by random at The Royal Hospital for Women Foundation (level 1 Barker Street, Randwick NSW 2031) on 06/09/2022 at 10:00am AEST.
Prize Winners: 1 prize to be won
Notification to the Winner: Within 7 days after the draw, the Foundation will attempt to notify the prize winner by telephone or email to collect prize. The Foundation will also publish the winning raffle ticket on website and social media. RHWF will attempt to contact the winner for 14 days after the draw - if no contact is made. A second winner will be drawn.
Prizes: The winner of the Father’s Day Raffle will take all of the prizes. The winner will be contacted by The Royal Hospital for Women Foundation in order to arrange the pick-up of prizes from the Coogee Beach Club. Delivery of the prizes may be arranged depending on residential address of winner and time it takes to contact winner. *** The prizes will be displayed at The Coogee Beach Club and The Winner of the raffle must collect within 14 days of initial contact from The Royal Hospital for Women Foundation and Coogee Beach Club
