ABOUT THE 24 HOUR SPINATHON
Gather your family and friends and keep your team's bike spinning for 24 hours to raise much-needed funds for The Royal's NICU.
Since its inception, the 24 Hour Spinathon has raised nearly $370,000 for the Newborn Intensive Care Unit at The Royal Hospital for Women.
Spearheaded by Mike and Jayne Blackwell in memory of their son Joe, the 24 Hour Spinathon has grown significantly to honour all babies that pass through the doors of The Royal's NICU - more than 1,000 annually.
The money raised from this incredible event has funded lifesaving research and equipment in the unit - transforming the lifelong health of countless premature and critically ill newborns.
