Mya's NICU thank you!
We are so excited to announce the arrival of Mya, and forever grateful for the incredible care and support our family received from the team in the NICU at The Royal Hospital for Women.
In celebration of Mya’s birth, we are raising much-needed funds to say thank you to the extraordinary doctors, nurses, neonatologists, social workers, admin staff and wider care team who supported us through such an important and emotional time in our lives.
Each year, more than 1,000 premature and critically ill babies are cared for in The Royal’s NICU.
Around 80% of the equipment used within the NICU has been funded through donations to The Foundation. From humidicribs and ventilators to vital technology such as brain monitors, portable x-ray machines and advanced training simulators for staff, community support plays a critical role in helping the NICU continue to provide the highest level of care.
