Since 2015, the annual BAZAAR in Bloom has raised millions of dollars in much-needed funds for The Royal Hospital for Women, thanks to a wonderful partnership between the RHW Foundation and Harper's BAZAAR.
This year, on Friday 18th October at the Art Gallery of NSW, the characteristic generosity continued: more than 300 glamourous guests contributed a whopping $560,000 (and counting*) towards the purchase and installation of a 3-D mammogram machine which will increase access for women needing vital diagnostic breast screen testing. Statistics show that early detection and immediate treatment is key to improved breast cancer survival rates. Your generosity ensures that the dedicated staff at The Royal's NSW Women’s Breast Centre are equipped with their own most up-to-date 3-D mammogram machine; meaning more women, faster and more thorough diagnosis with local biopsies will result in earlier treatments for breast cancer - and more lives will be saved.
